For the Babies........

I like to crochet for new babies of the family and friends, it's my gift to them when they have their baby showers. I find out what gender their having(boy or girl) and make a blanket for it.  All the patterns are my own making. I don't read patterns, unless I really want something I see. My grandmother taught me how to do crochet without a book. My mother can crochet with patterns from the books.  I haven't mastered that feat as yet.

Who Thought?

From a eye surgery to a huge boil on my fore heard, has really taken it's toll on my health lately.  The area where the anesthesiologist deadened my head sprung a huge boil and I've been fighting it all week.  Went to the ER yesterday and they drained it as best they could, then gave me a prescription for pain and antibiotics to take home.  It's been a nasty battle and I still have a big place up there, but then it's only been one day since the ER visit.  Guess I'm expecting things to happen too fast.  I need it that way cause on the 10th I'm scheduled to have my other eye surgery.  I will have to re-schedule it, if things don't get better fast.

Nivea

Lingerie

Well, ladies here you have the ultimate shopping experience in  lingerie bodystockings  and other lovely items.   We love to feel pretty and sexy when we are in our bedrooms.  It's great to enjoy a private time with your partner and having a special nightie on can enhance the moods.  I believe that any woman wants to feel special and having nice lingerie just seems to top off the atmosphere.

Growing Old

I'm not ready for this but I really don't like the alternative so, I suppose it's going to happen.  The way your body ebbs away is ego shattering and sad.  I feel like the same person, but then I go look in the mirror and get all unhappy.  There is no way to stop the effects that aging has on one's body and so we're stuck with the wrinkled mess.

Tattoo

When my daughter was in high school, she thought it was the "in" thing to do to put a tattoo on her hand.  A year or so after that she decided that she was possibly "model" material and wanted to make a profile for agencies.  I reminded her about her tattoo, and she didn't think it would be a problem.  Today it isn't as bad but there are some people who don't want certain tattoo's that they got back a few years ago.  I think there's probably the best tattoo removal cream  at this link and offer it to you to research for your benefits.

Face Wash

 In recent years there have been more studies on ways to control acne with certain methods.  They also encourage a good daily cleansing with an approved  acne wash  which can be directed by a skin professional.  I've tried to get my son to find a good product to ease his acne, but he says that there is too much involved in the use and that the products are too high.  I hope he checks out this product because he really needs some help.

Cosmetology Training

A few years ago I worked at a local magnet school that had several different trade departments where students could train in a certain field.  One of the departments was cosmetology where the students learned to cut hair, style it, and give other beauty treatments.  Many of us teachers plus other personnel at the school, were allowed to get our hair shampooed, cut & styled by the students for a small fee.  I’m told that when they graduated from high school they were ready to take the more advanced courses at a lock cosmetology college, and get their license.
