From a eye surgery to a huge boil on my fore heard, has really taken it's toll on my health lately. The area where the anesthesiologist deadened my head sprung a huge boil and I've been fighting it all week. Went to the ER yesterday and they drained it as best they could, then gave me a prescription for pain and antibiotics to take home. It's been a nasty battle and I still have a big place up there, but then it's only been one day since the ER visit. Guess I'm expecting things to happen too fast. I need it that way cause on the 10th I'm scheduled to have my other eye surgery. I will have to re-schedule it, if things don't get better fast.

Eye Drops
As I start a new chapter in my life I find it tedious and taxing. Getting ready for eye surgery this coming week is a bit scary but I am ready to get this done. I'm very tired of not being able to see properly. As you can tell I am using large print with this post. Cataract surgery is suppose to be simple, but I waited until it was too late and the thing has turned white. I started the series of eye drops this morning which is needed leading up to the day it happens. If all goes well and it heals properly, then they will schedule surgery of the other eye.

Lost It
I remember when my grandmother would put things up so that she could save them for when they were needed. That was several years ago and today, I live in the same home she once lived in. The furnishings are different but even today, there are too many places to put things and then never find them again should you forget where they were put. I recently put my gold watch and rings where I thought I would see them and pick them back up to put away. Can't find them anywhere. Very unhappy with myself.

Not Me
As the years go by you find a need for healthcare. I lived to the age of most "baby boomers" and realize that my health isn't what it once was. Being healthy all my life was something I relished. It wasn't until I found my "50's that I saw things in a different perspective. I did the things that took care of small problems that annoyed me. The big problems didn't seem to be mine, but someone else's. I ignored some of the early signs and kept going. Today, my blindness is beyond being ignored. I have the pleasure of "cataracts" as company and they are awful.

Oh Well
Ever have the time when you are given information about family members and then they just leave you hanging and don't follow up on it? It happened this weekend and I still don't know anything. Hey, this is health matters about family members and they just get busy with other things.

Storms
Once again our area has been attacked with a disaster. Last nights storms spawned tornadoes that took lives and destroyed homes as well as businesses. Today the DFW area of Texas is still reeling from this onslaught of Mother Nature. Our prayers are with the victim's and their families.

Small Business
Many services and businesses are popping up around our local area. You see them opening and all too soon closing again. It may be that they didn't advertise properly and that didn't help business at all. Obtaining a business card printing from printingamerica.com could have helped and promoted good will. To get information about this website's service and products, click the above link and investigate.
