An the beat goes on........

Life, has it's cruel way of giving and taking.  I feel the strains of aging, like all who are doing so.  My mom and ste-dad are in the final days of their lives and it's a sad thing to see.  I'm not far behind them and that makes it scary to me.  Impending loss of life, is a hard thing to think about in any realm.  I only hope I can go out with dignity.

Stressing

All week I have been on an emotional roller coaster.  This guy I met last month has been stringing me along.  It's downright frustrating.  I miss him and want to be with him, and rarely get to.  There's never enough time for us to be together, and it really gets under my skin.  We can't get to know each other if we can't be together.  So, I wait and wait to sometimes, just hear his voice on the other end of the phone.  Sad.

Why Me?

I'm not feeling real great this morning.  I let my feelings overflow last night when my boyfriend didn't answer my phone call.  I basically told him that it was hurting too bad to try and have a relationship with someone I can't even be around.  He's probably going to tell me that he has to work and that is something I need to understand.  Well, I do, but it only takes a couple of seconds to send a quick text on your cell phone.  That couple of seconds can mean the world to the person on the other end of the phone.  You can't leave the other person to read between the lines when you are starting a new relationship.  They need to know where you stand and how you are feeling about being in a relationship with them.  This guy is driving me crazy and I can't do a damn thing about it.

I just heard a , yowl, hiss and attack made by my cat on another victim, in our yeard.  She is getting on in years and doesn't loose any time letting this other cat know her feelings.  He's on her property. trespassing where he needs not to be.  Territory, seems be very important to animals.

A Date?

Man, don't you hate waiting for the week to pass so you can go on that planned date?  What's even worse is when it falls through.  This leaves a bitter taste in your mouth and lets you down to the pits of despair.  Been there, done that!  It the lesser of 2 evils so to speak.  The letdown person, has a real hard time dealing with it.  They can get bitter to the point of lashing out at you if you aren't careful.  Especially so, when that person has been letdown by other dating partners.  Rejection, is something that's very hare for anyone to handle.  I for one, take it personally.

I remember back a couple of years ago, when I was volunteering for the Red Cross division in Dallas, TX.  I was sent to a company that had airpots  of all shapes and sizes.  I got the sales person to give me a few quotes on some of the pots, to bring back to my supervisor for possible purchasing.  I couldn't believe my eyes when looking around the store.  If you needed it for your coffeemaker, they had it.

Can't Believe

In a mater of 3 short weeks, I've found a very special person.  Our lives have become a story book page.  I feel so blessed at meeting this wonderful person.  It's not often that one can find someone who just fits into your life so easily.  I'm amazed at the things we have in common and how close we've become in such a short period of time.  Everyone is teasing me, because of how I've been action.  My social buddies, are really having a game day with me.  I'm scared and excited at the same time.  I thought he was too, but am beginning to think he's not scared at all.  Wow, I'm overwhelmed.
