Children........

My children are grown, but still very much un-grown. I wonder if they'll ever see the light, about life? It's so hard for them to grasp reality, when it comes to stability. I've often wonder how they made it as far as they did? I always had some type of job or a marriage that supported a form of stability. I'm at a loss as how to handle the extra expense that comes from having kids? They always have their hands out and still no jobs. I guess one day they will get hit in the face with "no Mom", and have to scrap for themselves. That's a hard lesson to learn.

A New Baby.........

Is there a new baby expected in your family soon? Everyone gets all excited, when the time is about to happen. Reality sets in when the mom to be gets down to the last couple of months before delivery. It's time to make sure the nursery is ready, and all the necessary items, to make baby comfy are in place. If she is still working and will until the last month, then she may get a baby shower in the office. Her friends and coworkers, may give her many nice gifts & baby shower stuff to help with the new arrival.
There are Baby Shower Supplies that need to be bought, if your going to make it a lovely memory for the Mom. Invitations, paper plates, cups, baby shower thank you cards
and other things with the same theme make the shower quite nice. I notice a theme on a website, by the name of Precious Moments baby shower which was subtle, yet very nice. The plaid/gingham background gave it a homey feeling, and still let you know that was a baby pending. The pastel colors, weren't too gaudy and loud, but had a calming effect. They say that you can save around 40% on all your items, if purchased from this website. So, go look around at all the different themes and items available.

TX Tax Free Weekend.........

Hey, parents, it's that time of the year again.......Texas' 11th annual sales tax holiday starts at midnight tonight. To save $8, you have to spend $100. It started as a back-to-school financial break for parents. Most apparel, shoes, backpacks and school supplies priced under $100 are tax-exempt in Texas until Sunday at midnight. These increased sales largely represent purchases that would have been made in any case. So, either way the weekend is in full swing and it's your chance to make some good deals.

This Old House.........

My house, is in dire need of repairs in several different areas. First I must get the foundation repaired before I can start on the other improvements, that it needs. I will need to find some good Home Improvement Help to get the necessary contractors to do the quality work that will be needed. It's not easy to afford this type of work on a fixed income, so I will need to notify these contractors, once the money is available. I have walked around and looked at my home to see what I have to plan for. I did a Do It Yourself Home Inspection which can't be as expert as someone who is experienced in the field.
I remember when we remodeled the bathroom, about three years ago. It would have been nice to have had a professional do the work. Since I was unable to afford a professional contractor, some family members assisted in what turned out to be a shoddy job. Now I will need to get the work done all over again. I believe that this time I will have someone show me more than on Bathroom Design to choose from. This way I can get the decor set up to accent the rest of the home. If you need to find a new look for your home or just a room in your home. I suggest clicking on one of these links and shop around.

A Wedding Dress.......

I've notice that there are certain culture circles, who love to be in the fashion world of design. It's what gives the "runways" their appeal to the higher end of culture. Many designer's flock to these events to show their new styles for the season. You have all types of apparel design and Justina McCaffrey is one who designs wedding dresses and accessories. Should you have the yen for a smartly designed dress for you upcoming wedding, then you might want to follow her designs, and match them to what your interested in.

Relaxed in Yard........

I sat outside last evening and cooked on the grill. I had thawed out some chicken pieces and marinated them in BBQ sauce, that I had blended with certain spices and condiments I had on hand here at the house. I was sort of enjoying the afternoon breeze in the backyard and just relaxing. It was fun watching my cat and daughter’s dog sparing with each other. The breeze kept the sun from being too hot and it made for a nice evening. The chicken was enjoyed by the dog and cat, and I was too lazy to eat, so my pieces went in to the fridge for later. emoticon

Auto Insurance Quote

I recently did an online search for quotes on auto insurance. I thought maybe I could get a better deal than the one I had. You wouldn't believe how many companies, came back on my search with auto insurance quotes. I got several and am still getting quotes from different companies. As fate would have it, I found that the insurance company I had offered better amenities, than any of the other's who sent me quotes. Too bad, because I would have liked a cheaper package deal.

Children

Why is it that you never see or hear from your kids unless they need or want something? I really don't like the way they take you for granted and run around enjoying themselves without regard to your well being. I can see them being independent, but they could at least check in, say hello, and see if your ok. Letting your parents know your ok, and doing well is much better than them finding out from someone else. I only see or hear from my children, when they need something. I suppose I taught them too well how to be independent and make your own world. I didn't mean for them to totally exclude me.

Loose Weight.......

I'm sure that Jennifer, will be looking to shed some of that baby fat she's acquired during her pregnancy. I would be the first to agree with her, if she got it done fast. Looking for
weight loss supplements are just about as hard as looking for the diet pills. It's necessary to do you research, when deciding which ones will be right for you. If your still not sure, then contact you personal doctor, and get his/her recommendation.

Congrats......It's A Boy
