Disappointment.......

I hate to let my feelings get me into this place of letdown.  I try so hard to be the right person that someone could like and have a relationship with.  I just keep coming up short and disappointed at the outcomes.  I meet someone, and they start giving me attention.  I react to the attention and it still leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.  I realize that men are different from women, and try to understand their thinking.  Never works and it doesn't matter how much we talk, somehow the information is never what the other wants to hear.
I suppose I have to accept that the only brain or feelings a man has is in his pants.  So, I'm left with my feelings/heart in my hands and a rejection to add to my already growing list.

Do You Use....

It's a known fact that your body looses essential nutrients when you are doing an extreme diet.  You find that it's necessary to combine supplementing vitamins in order to keep your body running smoothly.  I'm sure that you want to stay healthy and the weight loss specialists can tell you how to go about the diet and it's affect on your body. You will need to keep an eye on your side effects while taking any diet products.  They can affect each person's system in different ways.

It's Not Me

Well, on the 2nd of May some people I know will be getting married.  This will be an emotional time for me, because I will be wishing it was me.  I'm the type of person to get all caught up in these kind of situations, and I suppose I'm a hopeless romantic.  "In love with love" is the phrase they coin for people like me.  It may be true, because I've always wanted to be in love........and to me that's the best feeling in the whole world.  Being in true love is so overwhelming that you are engulfed with it's intoxication.  You wake up in the morning feeling it's effects, go through the whole day knowing it's there and rush home in the evening to it's waiting arms......isn't that wonderful?

Raccoon Eyes

Do you get up in the mornings with raccoon eyes?  I do, and have done so for many years.  Not sleeping well causes it as well as my sinus that keeps me messed up.  I don't like looking in the mirror and seeing these dark circles but it's very hard to keep them from popping up.  There are many things that can cause them and sometimes we need help to try and minimize them.  For more information on products you can obtain, click on the above link and look around the website.

Their OK

You can always tell when my children are doing well. I don't hear from them! They are always too busy to call or check in, unless they need advice or financial help. So, when I don't hear from them, I know that they are handling whatever is going in their lives and don't need me. Sometimes, I get that left out feeling, but I'd rather they take on the responsibility that's necessary for them to become a true adult.

Cosmetology Training

A few years ago I worked at a local magnet school that had several different trade departments where students could train in a certain field.  One of the departments was cosmetology where the students learned to cut hair, style it, and give other beauty treatments.  Many of us teachers plus other personnel at the school, were allowed to get our hair shampooed, cut & styled by the students for a small fee.  I’m told that when they graduated from high school they were ready to take the more advanced courses at a lock cosmetology college, and get their license.
In the State of Wisconsin you are probably informed about the cosmetology school in Wisconsin where you can get highly trained for a great profession.  I know that taking certain types of training can give operator’s an advantage, where others who only know a part of the field of beauty can operate.  For more information on the cosmetology school, click on the above link and look around the website, to decide on a specialty in this trade.

Diabetes

Adult onset diabetes is up 29% in the U.S. in 9 years, and no one is even blinking!! Any diease in Any Country in the World That goes up 2% in a 10-year Period is to be Considered to NATIONAL DISASTER! This is a health crisis, and all the drug companies want to do about it is to simpy ship insulin to your door! The point is, this condition is totally preventable and correctable with diet and Exercise.

Detox

There a health gurus in today's world that feel the need to do a total body cleanse.  It's come to my attention that the trend or flair for many has become a colon cleanse detox  to rid the body of harmful chemicals.  They say that over time we get a build up of these toxins and it's necessary to make a detox to get these things out of our bodies.  I know there were other ways that people, back in the 40's and 50's utilized in order to cleanse their internal systems.  Today's health care products can give the same effects with less misery.

Health Problems

Volcanic ash can be breathed deep into the lungs and cause irritation even in healthy people. But once it falls from a greater distance, like from the cloud currently hovering above Europe, its health effects are often minimal, experts say.  The Icelandic volcano that erupted Wednesday has sent an enormous cloud of microscopic basalt ash particles across northern Europe, grounding aircraft across continent. It is drifting above 20,000 feet, high and invisible from the ground.
Europeans should try to stay indoors if ash from Iceland's volcano starts settling, the World Health Organization warned Friday as small amounts of ash fell in Iceland, Scotland and Norway.

Acne Help

Finding something that can help with your skin problems, is hard to do.  I've noticed that many products have boosted prices, that keep some people from affording the needed acne serum  for their skin.  Horrible acne can disfigure a person's face and body, leaving deep scars that never go away.  I've experienced acne even at my age, and would love to be able to find a serum that can help with the healing process when I have out breaks.  For more information about a good acne serum you can click on the above link and look around the website.

Gay/Lesbian Rights.........

Obama is instructing his Health and Human Services secretary to draft rules requiring hospitals that receive Medicare and Medicaid payments to grant all patients the right to designate people who can visit and consult with them at crucial moments. The designated visitors should have the same rights that immediate family members now enjoy.  He is ordering that nearly all hospitals allow patients to say who has visitation rights and who can help make medical decisions, including gay and lesbian partners.
Medicare-Medicaid hospitals, which include most of the nation's facilities, may not deny visitation and consultation privileges on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.
The move was called a major step toward fairness for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.
This is a critical step in ending discrimination against LGBT families and ensuring that, in the event of a hospital stay, all Americans have the right to see their loved ones.

Used RV's

Vacation time is right around the corner and many are thinking of staying in the country and traveling around from state to state.  If your like me and have limited finances, then you could consider investing in a used RV for your travel time.  Shopping for used motorhomes  is tedious, when trying to find  a dealer close to your location.  If you live in a rural area, you may have to drive to the nearest large city to shop for your RV.  I suggest that doing an online search can give you directions for finding these dealerships, and cut down you driving time, when shopping for your best suited RV.

So Much Devastation

I've notice that the world as a whole is experiencing trauma, like never before.  Iceland has this horrible volcano, with a huge amount of ash floating around the skies, and China just had an earth quake.  I wonder how long this old world can hold on to it's seemingly time bomb actions.  Every where you look that are things happening and these are disasters that the people have no control over.  It's a worry that many people deal with on a daily basis, with no relief in sight.  No matter how many relief organizations, take action to help, the needs are mounting moment by moment and there's no indication of where a disaster might happen next.

Cleansing Your Skin

Many have a beauty resume, that they do on a daily basis.  They use different products when cleansing their skin and have to consider the effects some have on their acne.  You may want to shop for a good  acne face wash  to include in your daily skin cleansing.  It's a helpful product when you need to get rid of the oily skin problems that can cause major out breaks.  I believe that you should consider contacting your personal health care giver for complete information about the type of products you can use.

Lots of Bathroom Time

Very little in your daily health life is more important than drinking enough good, clean water. Our bodies are made up of over 70% water, so replenishing with plenty of purified H2O is absolutely critical!! Nothing in your body works properly without being hydrated. Try to work it into your daily schedule- example... drink a glass of water on the hour every hour! That should do it!

Spring is Here.......

If your like me, you are already using that patio, when the weather is nice.  But you probably haven't gotten around to entertaining as yet.  You will want your patio to look nice for guests and so I know you will want to get rid of the weathered patio cushions and buy some new ones.  The weather here in Texas can take it toll on outdoor furniture, if it's not put up and covered.  You'll know when it's time for more cushions, because they will start to look drab and even have torn spots on them.

Insurance Quotes

There aren't many insurance companies that can give you good insurance without some sort of medical history.  They have certain qualifications they expect from their prospective clients to insure proper coverage.  Finding  life insurance no medical questions  is very hard to acquire.  I had one company that I used for awhile that gave that type of benefits and they still asked you to fill out a small questionaire when applying.  I since have found insurance that fits my pocket book and lets me feel confident that I am covered properly.

A Quiet Time

I suppose you could have called me a recluse, on Easter Sunday.  I just wasn't in the mood to be around a bunch of rowdy kids or people who were boring.  So, I politely excused myself from the festivities and stayed at home, where I played most of the day on my computer.  It was nice and quiet here, and no one to agitate me with their actions or remarks.  So, even though I was unsociable I still made thing fruitful for myself.  Does that make me bad?

Digital Frames

It's become the popular thing to have a digital frame  in your office or home.  I noticed that several people who were working in their cubicles had these sitting on their desks.  One lady displayed photos of herself and family while there were also photos of vacation trips and scenery.  The sharpness of the photos color and display were outstanding.  She had it set of a certain time revolution giving plenty of viewing pleasure.  I'm thinking of investing in a nice frame for my family photos, to have here in my home.  For more information, click on the above link.

Paget's Disease......Cancer...!

This is so important to every woman you know.
Please share it with everyone you know and particularly those you care about.

 New kind of Breast Cancer
Please forward to all of the women in your lives Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, friends, etc.

In November, a rare kind of breast cancer was found. A lady developed a rash on her breast, similar to that of young mothers who are nursing..

Because her mammogram had been clear, the doctor treated her with antibiotics for infections.. After 2 rounds, it continued to get worse, so her doctor sent her for another mammogram. This time it showed a mass.

A biopsy found a fast growing malignancy. Chemo was started in order to shrink the growth; then a mastectomy was performed; then a full round of Chemo; then radiation.. After about 9 months of intense treatment, she was given a clean bill of health.

She had one year of living each day to its fullest. Then the cancer returned to the liver area. She took 4 treatments and decided that she wanted quality of life, not the after effects of Chemo. She had 5 great months and she planned each detail of the final days. After a few days of needing morphine, she died. She left this message to be delivered to women everywhere:

Women, PLEASE be alert to anything that is not normal, and be persistent in getting help as soon as possible.

 Paget's Disease
: This is a rare form of breast cancer, and is on the outside of the breast, on the nipple and aureole It appeared as a rash, which later became a lesion with a crusty outer edge. I would not have ever suspected it to be breast cancer but it was. My nipple never seemed any different to me, but the rash bothered me, so I went to the doctor for that. Sometimes, it itched and was sore, but other than that it didn't bother me. It was just ugly and a nuisance, and could not be cleared up with all the creams prescribed by my doctor and dermatologist for the dermatitis on my eyes just prior to this outbreak. They seemed a little concerned but did not warn me it could be cancerous.

Now, I suspect not many women out there know a lesion or rash on the nipple or aureole can be breast cancer. (Mine started out as a single red pimple on the aureole. One of the biggest problems with Paget's disease of the nipple is that the symptoms appear to be harmless. It is frequently thought to be a skin inflammation or infection, leading to unfortunate delays in detection and care.)

 What are the symptoms?

 1. A persistent redness, oozing, and crusting of your nipple causing it to itch and burn (As I stated, mine did not itch or burn much, and had no oozing I was aware of, but it did have a crust along the outer edge on one side.)

 2. A sore on your nipple that will not heal. (Mine was on the aureole area with a whitish thick looking area in center of nipple).

 3. Usually only one nipple is affected. How is it diagnosed? Your doctor will do a physical exam and should suggest having a mammogram of both breasts, done immediately.. Even though the redness, oozing and crusting closely resemble dermatitis (inflammation of the skin), your doctor should suspect cancer if the sore is only on one breast. Your doctor should order a biopsy of your sore to confirm what is going on.

This message should be taken seriously and passed on to as many of your relatives and friends as possible; it could save someone's life.

My breast cancer has spread and metastasized to my bones after receiving mega doses of chemotherapy, 28 treatments of radiation and taking Tamaxofin. If this had been diagnosed as breast cancer in the beginning, perhaps it would not have spread...

 TO ALL READERS
:

This is sad as women are not aware of Paget's disease. If, by passing this around, we can make others aware of it and its potential danger, we are helping women everywhere.
