The hope is to push Special Forces teams into villages throughout Afghanistan, giving them the mission of rebuilding and training Afghan police and soldiers rather than hunting insurgents.

No Drugs........

At sometime in everyone's life they have been exposed to the element of drugs, whether it is a family member, friend or acquaintance. It's a heart wrenching emotional time, to experience and leaves the people vulnerable to all types of attacks. Many families and friends, will get to their rows end, and finally walk away from the sad person. It's very hard to get a person, to accept the fact that they need, drug rehab to save them.
If you can get the person, to determine that they are "sick and tired" of being "sick and tired", then it's possible you can get them the help the so desperately need. This website offers information for those interested in getting these types of service. The rehab center puts the client through several steps to get them on the road to recovery. The ultimate goal of course, is to help the person become drug/alcohol free, in a matter of months. They put a patient through a series of specialized courses designed to help an addict gain self control. This is a must, in order to get them on the right path to a healthy life. The patient can restore relationships with family and friends while working out their future. Coming back into the outside world will be the challenge, and support will be needed to keep them encouraged. Family and friends are encouraged to participate in this part of the program. For more information about this center, click on the above link and look around.

Decision Made.........

I will be moving from my home that I was buying, because of the personal financial situation, the owner has created with me. I can't wait to start my new life, but at the same time, will miss this place. It has been home for the last 5 years, and now I must give up some of the amenities that go with living in a home. Apartment living will be easier, except for a few things, that I will have to accept. Yet, this will also help me, get rid of alot of clutter, in my life.

Acne Treatments.

When I was a teenage girl, I have very bad acne. I would try to cover it up with heavy layers of makeup. The only people who were able to get acne treatments were the rich people, who had plenty of money. This of course left me out, since we barely made it from month to month financially. In today's world these things are still expensive, but can be afforded by making payments.

But The Crying.......

Well, there's nothing new to report, on the home front except the ongoing separation of me and my spouse. He acts as if I'm not around when we run into each other. So, I just let him be and don't bother him. He's got to stand on his own 2 feet now that I'm not driving him everywhere, the way I did when he was here. He is getting much needed exercise riding the bus and walking from bus stop to places he needs to go. Heck I need to exercise, since I picked up about 30 to 40 pounds of blubber, while we were together.

Cute Kids......

These have to be original and genuine. No adult is this creative!!

JACK (age 3) was watching his Mom breast-feeding his new baby sister. After a while he asked: "Mom why have you got two? Is one for hot and one for cold milk?"

MELANIE (age 5) asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she was so old she didn't remember any more. Melanie said, "If you don't remember you must look in the back of your panties. Mine say five to six."

STEVEN (age 3) hug ged and kissed his Mom good night. "I love you so much that when you die I'm going to bury you outside my bedroom window."

BRITTANY (age 4) had an earache and wanted a pain killer. She tried in vain to take the lid off the bottle. Seeing her frustration, her Mom explained it was a child-proof cap and she'd have to open it for her. Eyes wide with wonder, the little girl asked: "How does it know it's me?"

SUSAN (age 4) was drinking juice when she got the hiccups. "Please don't give me this juice again," she said, "It makes my teeth cough."

DJ (age 4 ) stepped onto the bathroom scale and asked: "How much do I cost?"

MARC (age 4) was engrossed in a young couple that were hugging and kissing in a restaurant. Without taking his eyes off them, he asked his dad: "Why is he whispering in her mouth?"

CLINTON (age 5) was in his bedroom looking worried. When his Mom asked what was troubling him, he replied, "I don't know what'll happen with this bed when I get married. How will my wife fit in?"

JAMES (age 4) was listening to a Bible story. His dad read: "The man named Lot was warned to take his wife and flee out of the city but his wife looked back and was turned to salt." Concerned, James asked: "What happened to the flea?"

TAMMY (age 4) was with her mother when they met an elderly, rather wrinkled woman her Mom knew. Tammy looked at her for a while and then asked, "Why doesn't your skin fit your face?"

The Sermon I think this Mom will never forget.... this particular Sunday sermon..."Dear Lord," the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. "Without you, we are but dust..." He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four year old girl voice, "Mom, what is butt dust?"

Barcode........

Technology these days, has really advanced, from the old cash registers. Several years ago, we wouldn't have even understood what a barcode scanner was. Today, it's become increasingly upscale in many of your large supermarkets. I've gotten to the point that I'd rather, go to a "self serve" register, than mess with the clerks and their attitudes. Even then the scanner, is equipped so that it can cause you to wait for assistance. I guess with every new thing that's being developed, there are always draw backs.

Whatever......

Someone, calls you and says lets go out and have a few, at the club. You agree and get all gussied up, head out and meet them there. After the second brew, they're ready to go? WHAT? Now it 's not somewhere else, like another club, NO, she's ready to go home! So, what's the point of going out in the first place, if she's just going to be ready to leave after the second brew? I have had this happen more than once and any of the other times, she will con you into going to get something to eat and then your left to pay for it. She'll tell you she didn't bring any extra money with her, that she wasn't expecting to go eat. Guess she wasn't expecting to pay for very many brews, either! Ridiculous !

Torrents Search Engine

I went to this webpage and noticed that it was full of different categories, with many listings added. The torrents download is a search engine that can find and help with many different types of niche traffic. The site has been created for the ease of it's users. I'm sure there's just about any subject, listed on it and if there isn't one to justify what your busy with, they have it set up so you can add it. That's the easy route to take if you have a different site, and wish to get it noticed. Just go to this website, look around and see how you can benefit from listing on it.

Burned Biscuits........

When I was a little boy, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner
every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had
made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my Dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom
apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I'll never forget what he
said: "Baby, I love burned biscuits."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he
really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your
Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides - a little burnt biscuit never hurt anyone!"

You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm
not the best housekeeper or cook.
What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's
faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is one of the
most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting
relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good,
the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of God.
Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a
relationship where a burnt biscuit isn't a deal-breaker!
We could extend this to any relationship in fact - as understanding is the
base of any relationship, be it a husband-wife or parent-child or
friendship!

"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket - keep it in your own."
Sent to me by an email friend............hope you enjoy..........

Not A Bank

I've been recently bombarded with requests for money against a monthly payment that I make to a certain individual. Mind you, I'm never behind on my payments, and this person keeps hitting me up for draws on that payment. Then when they run out or I have given them the payment in full, minus the draws, they get drunk and forget. I'm not a bank and they are taking this too far. If I'm paying for the next month's payment after this month's has already been paid, then I am over extending my finances' for this month. Yet, every time they get into a tight, here they come wanting to borrow, money on the payment that's coming up, in order to make it. I'm about to give up and get away from this payment and these people.

Motorcycle Covers.......

During the last week, I noticed the man across the street has had his motorcycle covered up to keep the seat and engine from getting drenched. The rain has been so bad that we now have very soft ground. It's always best to have a good cover for your bike if you don't have a garage. You can buy motorcycle covers online and get your item delivered in a couple of days. Look around the website and make your decision about the one you want to buy.

Children wait for food at a feeding center of a slum area in Manila in August 2009. Millions of people are dying every year because of a lack of free healthcare in poor countries, Oxfam said Monday, urging world leaders to step up their commitment to cutting the figure. These children like so many others around the world, are without proper food, clothing and shelter.

Baby Safe Travel......

I suppose that when one travels with a young child or baby, they have to get a place where the child can be in a safe environment. Since it was so hard to pack up everything the child or children needed to make the trip, often times, we just stayed home. As with our ever changing world, the world of babies and children has also evolved. Now you can go online and get necessary things for baby to use when traveling, like baby sunglasses and such. For more information on this website, click on the link in this post and look around.

To Go or Stay........

I'm trying to decide whether to go or stay at this house. I've done so much with my flowers and plants, but there's controversy going on around this place. I don't believe that once I get this thing paid for, that the person I'm buying it from will let me have the deed transferred over to my name. Even if she does, I'm afraid that her sisters will try and fight it. So, I'm torn about how to handle the problem.

Price of Weight Loss

Have you noticed how high some of the weight loss pills or supplements are? I've seen price's anywhere from $10, $20, $30, $40, $50 and on up. It's just too high for my budget, and if I'm paying for that type of weight loss, then why can't I just stop eating? There's a weight loss company that watches the price's and lets customer's know what is really worth buying. They give reviews on certain pills and what you can expect from them.

Need Help?

Recently I've been gaining even more weight than before. I'm sure it's because of the food and drink I indulge in. I could find one of the many appetite suppressants that website's offer online. Maybe I could find one that would work well with my body and not give me the jitters. I really don't eat that much, but I do eat at the wrong time of day. The above link can help me find a suppressant that will assist me in my goal.

Still No Job........

It's going on 2 months and she still isn't trying to get a job. It's as if she thinks that she can do odd jobs and lay around with her boyfriend at his Mom's house or here. I've pushed and gotten down right mad at her many times. All to no avail. She just goes over to his Mom's and stays away from me for a few days, until I cool down or need her to do something. I'm getting to the point I don't want to do anything for her, and let her tough it out. The bad thing is, when they can't find some type of odd job to do, then things start coming up missing. No one has yet to catch her boyfriend, but they have been accused of several items, that are missing.

Our Loss..........

On August 30, 2009 we lost the man in the right of this picture. This picture was taken on June 13, 2009 and that's how fast the cancer took him. Everyone in the family will miss Sean, and we know that he's not hurting anymore. That's about the only consolation, we have to this loss. His cancer was fast moving and took him from us in this short amount of time. So, long Sean, may God take care of your soul.

Summer Time

Seiko SNF089
"Daylight Savings Time", carries a different frame of mind to the normal "Central Standard Time." It makes for longer days, which workers can utilize for making more work time and more money.
I've been noticing that there are plenty of people who need watches to work in, rather than dress watches. My oldest daughter, could use a watch like the one above. It's a watch that can be worn while working with horses, and still show that she has good taste. I'm sure that getting this Seiko Dive watches for her would be just what she would like for Christmas, which will be arriving soon.
Summer time is a time of active enjoyment, so you need a good sturdy watch to handle the sports you may take part in.

Working?

Are you working in today's world? If you are then your doing better than, thousands that have lost their jobs. America, is having a rough time, keeping their people from the streets. It's a horrible situation to be in, when just last year you had a good job and a roof over you and your family's heads. Today, you may be sleeping in your car or at a homeless shelter. People who have jobs are guarding them with their lives. Some to the point of becoming paranoid, when something goes wrong at work. Who can blame them with all the pressures that are mounting in the working world?

Loose Belly Fat......

How often have you heard someone mention, how they wish they could loose that belly fat? It's a common problem, especially for women, after childbirth. I've had this problem for years. It would be nice to be able to afford a tummy tuck. Since I can't, then I must check out other routes about how to lose belly fat and see if I can benefit from that. Looking through these website's you can find many different ways to accomplish this feat.

Daughter's Dog......

This has become a new addition to my household. Since my daughter returned to the DFW area, I have acquired some of her stuff to store until she can get on her feet. God, only knows when that will be. It of course is would be my hope that she would do it much sooner than later.
This dog is actually a very good watch dog and mild mannered.

Home Improvement.........

I have walked around and looked at my home to see what I have to plan for. First I must get the foundation repaired before I can start on the other improvements, that it needs. My house, is in dire need of repairs in several different areas. I will need to find some good Home Improvement Help to get the necessary contractors to do the quality work that will be needed. It's not easy to afford this type of work on a fixed income, so I will need to notify these contractors, once the money is available. So, I did a Do It Yourself Home Inspection which can't be as expert as someone who is experienced in the field. It would have been nice to have a professional do the work.
I remember when we remodeled the bathroom, about three years ago. Since I was unable to afford a professional contractor, some family members assisted in what turned out to be a shoddy job. Now I will need to get the work done all over again. I believe that this time I will have someone show me more than on Bathroom Design to choose from. This way I can get the decor set up to accent the rest of the home. If you need to find a new look for your home or just a room in your home. I suggest clicking on one of these links and shop around.

It's Raining....

Here in the DFW area of TX, it's been raining for 2 and 1/2 days. It seems much longer, because it never stops. Well, it actually stopped for a few hours, but started up again, with another line of showers that came along right behind the first bunch. Since I live in a low area of my side of town, my yard is almost a complete lake. The weathermen, predict that it may stay around through another day or two. Wow, the ground is soft and there doesn't seem to be anywhere for the water to go. They say this is odd for this time of year........actually here in our area it's either rain or drought. We never get it right, and it's a wonder there's any rain at all considering the rain fall amounts we've been getting in the last few years.

We being taken by surprise were left with the memories of just how vulnerable we as a nation, can be. Our security depends upon our National Security teams, military and we as concerned citizens.

Rugged Nerds.......

I found this website that gives you reviews on certain games, upcoming games, and the different aspects of the games. It is a gaming forum that you can access and join, which gives you many different types of advantages. Many people as well as youngsters, love to play games and this forum can help you decide if the game your interested in is worth investing in. The actual abilities of your game playing depends on you adaptability to the steps and levels of the games. It is nice to be able to get others opinions about these games. Especially, opinions from those who have already attempted or mastered a certain game. This forum does exactly that.

Stability...........

This is a word often used to make sure things or the actual subject was being stable. Like a patient being stabilized, or a platform that was stable and wouldn't crumble or fall. I often wish our country was more stable and we could once again relax. It's been such and uphill battle, trying to understand how, we've gotten into the place we are today. Our country is rattled and worried, on the brink of giving up to the hell that's taking place. How could we have let our politicians get us in so deep? It's truly a mess, and one that won't make our America, free for very long, if this keeps up. It's like a single person, wanting to find a mate who is stable and dependable. We would like our country to be the same.

Living Conditions.........

The Abu Mustafa family eats dinner by the light of an oil lamp in the Shiite neighborhood of Sadr City in Baghdad, Iraq, as the family lives on a block that gets only one or two hours of electricity per day. There's a running joke in Baghdad during September 2009, that whenever the electricity minister promises to generate more power, it's time to buy more diesel for your private generator. Despite nearly two years of relative calm in Iraq, the government is still unable to guarantee electricity supplies to the general population.
This is a horrible way to have to live, but I'm sure that our ancestor's did much of the same. As a matter of fact I still have the old oil lamp that my grandmother set up house keeping with back when she first got married.

Forgot Camera

While all the cooking and eating was going on during our Labor Day..........I forgot to get out the camera. How smart is that? There are people that I should have gotten picture's of because they are at the age, that they may not be with us next year. One never knows about these things, and it's up to people with cameras to preserve the family and friends get togethers'........... Either way, what makes this even worse is that the darn thing was in my purse the whole time. Figure that one out?

Who needs a costume, this time of year? Now if it were New Year's Eve and you were going to a Costume Party to ring in the new year, then I'd say, yes there are people who need a costume. Maybe you can get them at a discount, for later when the parties start up again. This website tries to provide the largest selection of Halloween costumes during the Halloween season, understand that there are many holidays and occasions other then Halloween for which people need costumes. They have several different Kids Costumes from every era in history, in sizes that will fit from the smallest to the largest child. They pride themselves in providing the largest offering of costumes for Adults as well as children. In their line of Adult Costumes they have all type to offer, one which I especially liked. The "Adult Burgundy Tavern Wench Costume", gives a flair to the era of Pirates. This costume includes a polyester dress with a burgundy and navy crushed velvet overdress with gold trim. You have to supply your own beer/ale mug and boots or shoes as well. It is available in sizes Small (6-8), Medium (8-10), Large (10-12) & Extra Large (12-14) and for the plus sizes there is another section in which to shop. When you make your order it will be shipped the same day if it's made before 5pm and you might check out their free shipping promotion.

Not Just The USA..........

Former military personnel and mourners gather as a procession of hearses carrying the bodies of British soldiers killed in Afghanistan travels through the streets of Wootton Basset, July 2009. Prime Minister Gordon Brown and the United States defended their strategy in Afghanistan amid mounting criticism over the rising death toll from war-weary voters.

The US has lost many of their soldiers, but we aren't the only countries that are involved in the war against terror. It is sad for any country to loose one of their sons, to this fighting. They know all too well, the problems that could arise if we don't keep these terrorists under control.

Perfume........

Most of the time I go for a light scent, but have found that buying the oil is more economical, and lasts a long time. You only have to barely touch the tip or applicator and you have the scent that you can spread around. At times I have gotten too much of it and would almost knock the people down, the the scent, when they would go past me. I've never liked someone who overpowers you with their perfume. To me that just going too far with your "come on".
There's a website, that you can go to and have what they call a " Talk Perfume " website which allows each person to give their idea's and talk about their favorite scents. Go online to the above link and have yourself some fun.

Labor Day Weekend.........

Everyone is on their last summer holiday, before the fall and Christmas season approaches. This is a long holiday, which everyone will enjoy. It's very hard to get the weekends coordinated with the holiday's being on a Monday, therefore giving us a long holiday weekend. We really go all out when we can get one of these weekend's and make it a big time had by all. It's time to BBQ and enjoy football, which most American's are ready to do. Everyone, please make sure to enjoy and make it a safe one! God Bless America..........

Health Insurance.......

We know that you and your family need health insurance, so what are you waiting for? I suppose it's for the right package and plan to meet your budget. Either way, it's necessary to cover your and your family with an insurance that will meet your needs. I remember a kaiser health insurance
that was in our state a few years back, when the HPO's and NPO's were doing a great market. Since then they have drifted to other states and set up. During the time they were in my state is was so saturated with this type of health plan, that they had a hard time surviving. Today, they have branched out to kaiser permanente Northern California which has been a great move for this company. They also moved to Colorado, and got a branch set up there to promote, their health care plans. The kaiser permanente Denver is also ready to give you a great healthcare plan to take care of you and your family. I notice plenty of healthcare companies online that offer you great packages, at a lower price. Today's insurance market is still full of online insurance companies that want you to buy their packages. Check it out and see which one is right for you.

Women's History Month.....

IN honor of women's history month and in memory of Erma Bombeck who lost her fight with cancer.
Pass this on to five women that you want watched over..
If you don't know five women to pass this on to, one will do just fine.

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER - by Erma Bombeck
(written after she found out she was dying from cancer).
I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage..
I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded.
I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.
I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.
I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains.
I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.
I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.
When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, 'Later. Now go get washed up for dinner.' There would have been more 'I love you's' and more 'I'm sorry's.'
But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute; look at it and really see it . Live it and never give it back. STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF!!!

Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what. Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us.

America Stand Up

Fly the flag to support our country on the coming 9/11.......
Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds
Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.
Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don't, then at least make it a priority on this day.
Thank you for your participation. God Bless You and God Bless America!

FTP Servers

In the past two years, I've tried to be a good student in the technology of computer software, and blogging. It's been an uphill battle, but I've come a long way from where I was back then. Thought I tried hard to work with the ftp servers to download files to open up in my blogs, I wasn't able to master it. I've been told by several that it's easy all you have to do is walk through the steps. Well, I can only reply to that, in a manner that doesn't sound good for me. I'm just too stupid to get the hang of it and work around unzipping the file folder and transferring it over to my blog. Otherwise, I would have much nicer blog templates, than the one's I have. If you have the brain power and want to find more information, then click on the link in this article and check it out.

Loosing A Family Member........

It's a very hard thing to loose a family member, whether it be through death, divorce or other circumstances. Our family recently lost an ex-family member, who we still had great ties with. He still visited us and we were very cordial to his new roommate, but of course things always change.
Before we knew it, he became ill and was gone from this life in the matter of 4 months. Cancer, has a way to doing those things. It has affected me, more than I expected it to, and I've been thinking about him, often on a daily basis. I'm sure that with time, memories and feelings will ease but he was in his early 40's and that's just too soon, to have to go. I can't question God's ways, and know there was a reason, for this to happen. Yet, it would have been nice to have had him around longer. We will all miss him..........
