New Horizons..

Today, I chart new areas of this world.  I live in a secluded place, and yet it's a small town.  In the neighborhood where I'm located there are many old homes, because it's the historic area of the town.  I live alone and that brings a lot of loneliness to my life.  Going out into the world and making efforts to find some sort of new life, is very hard.  Today, I will start a 3 day class that will give my some idea how to do certain things.  It is my hope that during these classes, I will learn to adopt more sane actions as well.

This is my sister, on Christmas day, and we had to go to the hospital to take Mom's presents to her, because she had been in the hospital for a week.  The white on the right of the picture is my Mom's hospital bed.

These photos were taken last year, and Mom is in the hospital this year, so we will be going there for Christmas Day........

 

Mom, has a hard time with her hearing these days, and she has to stop and listen real close to what you say.  Looks like she's trying to think of something witty to say to whatever she's hearing.

 

Henry just listens and lets her talk, but most of the time, he's telling about his past experiences in the military.  Heck, what else does he have to do, these are his memories.

Name Plates

I've had a few of the standard office name plates   during my years of work.  I believe it gives status to the person who works at that station or desk.  The people who are venturing through the office complex, can tell which person is suited to the needs they are requiring.  It's always nice to finally have your nameplate, placed where it's visible, to those around you.

Getting In The Swing

It seems that just when I think things are going well, something sets me back.  I try to get into the swing of things, and keep it all going properly, but sometimes I hit a snag.  I often wonder how things can get so snarled up, and life stay in a turmoil?  It would be nice to have things running smoothly, more often than they do.
