Rain Brought Them Out
My roses are really blooming, with all the rain we've been having. One of my bushes, is really suffering, from all the rain, it's ruined most of the buds and I had to cut them off, so the bush could re-bud. It was my pink rose and it's just a mess. But these bushes are doing well, and I hope they stay that way.

So True
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too,
so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love
for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone
you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every
sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be afraid that your life will end,
be afraid that it will never begin.

I Wish I Looked ..........
Me in my 20's.....lol wish I looked that good now, I like to remember and wish that I was still looking this way. It's hard to admit that I'm getting old and not young anymore. If you live long enough, you'll get into the same area as I am.........

Dallas Blooms
I did an article on this in one of my other blogs and it wasn't received with welcome approaches. So, I guess no one cares if Dallas blooms or not. So, what else is new. There's a lot of things nobody cares about. But just let something bad happen in Dallas, and you will find the internet full of onlookers. It's as bad as a wreck on the freeway. Anyway, here's a picture of the Arboretum here in Dallas, and the lovely flowers, they have planted for the spring season.

Help Stop This
When was the last time you notice your friend or the lady down the block, being abused? There's so much stress in today's world, and we seem to walk on by when something looks wrong. We don't want to get involved and hope it will go away................

A Hobby
I like to crochet for new babies of the family and friends, it's my gift to them when they have their baby showers. I find out what gender their having(boy or girl) and make a blanket for it. The first picture is actually the one that should be second. It shows where I'm putting the fringe on it. The next picture shows it before I started the fringe. All the patterns are my own making. I don't read patterns, unless I really want something I see. My grandmother taught me how to do crochet without a book.

Bikers
You also have people who love to ride for pleasure and got to "meets" as a means of recreation. The biker community as it's called, are considered a close knit set of people, who consider each other a brother or sister. I noticed there are many website's that cater to bikers and their support of each other. They are also offering any time of supplies, a biker would need when riding in the outdoors. For quality goods, to accessorize your riding experience, check out this website.

Adrian's Blog
I like the way he has his blog set up and the uncluttered look. This makes his blog easier to read and appealing to the eyes. I noticed a few ads for things, that many people would be interested in. This blog is not overwhelmed with all types of money making ads.
If you want to read about technology, then it's in the pages of this blog. I'm sure that you can find a subject that will catch your eye, when you visit Adrian's blog.

Self CPR
while you are alone.
It is called Cough CPR.
Let's say it's 6:15 p.m. and you're driving home
(alone of course), after an usually hard day on the job.
You're really tired, upset and frustrated.
Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain
in your chest that starts to radiate out
into your arm and up into your jaw.
You are only about five miles from the hospital
nearest your home.
Unfortunately, you don't know
if you'll be able to make it that far.
What can you do?
You've been trained in CPR
but the guy that taught the course didn't tell you
what to do if it happened to yourself.
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, this article seemed to be in order.
Without help, the person whose heart is
beating improperly and who begins to feel faint,
has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.
A deep breath should be taken before each cough,
and the cough must be deep and prolonged,
as when producing sputum from
deep inside the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated
about every two seconds without let up
until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and
keep the blood circulating.
The squeezing pressure on the heart
also helps it regain normal rhythm.
In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.
Tell as many other people as possible about this,
it could save their lives!
St. Jude's Children's Hospital
I was recently sent this in the mail by Marlo Thomas, the daughter of this esteemed man. I loved him as an actor back during my early years of watching TV. To me he was the epitome of good wholesome man.......his efforts to help people who were unable to handle the expenses for their sick childrens care is outstanding beyond words. It is with utmost respect that I challenge you to follow in this man's footsteps and help by making a donation to his research and hospital groups. You won't regret the efforts and the families, won't forget the needed assistance. Give a child the hope of a future, by making that pledge today.......

Chosen To Be.......
Whenever I’m disappointed with my spot in life, I stop and think about little Jamie Scott.
Jamie was trying out for a part in the school play. His mother told me that he’d set his heart on being in it, though she feared he would not be chosen.
On the day the parts were awarded, I went with her to collect him after school. Jamie rushed up to her, eyes shining with pride and excitement. “Guess what, Mom ,” he shouted, and then said those words that will remain a lesson to me…..”I’ve been chosen to clap and cheer.”

Better Than You.........
It's as if she's forgotten all the times, she was helped by me and my man, when she was down. When Mom's around, she just can't go without bragging to her about what he's done for her, or is going to do. It's been this way all our lives, so I shouldn't expect anything different from her. But I had hoped that for a change, things would be so.

Stimulus For Seniors......
Federal and state retirees who don’t receive Social Security benefits also will qualify to receive the payment but may have to file 2009 tax returns to receive it.
The senior payment—$250 for individuals, $500 for couples who both receive some Social Security benefit—will go to retirees, older veterans, SSI (Supplemental Security Income) beneficiaries, and people with disabilities.
Recipients won’t have to fill out a tax form or do anything—unlike the stimulus rebate of 2008. They just wait for the money to show up. They’ll get the money the same way they get Social Security—either through direct deposit or a check in the mail.
