Needs Something.......

If my youngest daughter, calls............she needs something............she never calls as long as she's got things going the way she wants them..............but if it takes money.........then I get a phone call............they can't seem to save money..........the way that I can...........and are always needing money or something, like car gas or food...........from me. I have a son just like her............and it's to the point that I have to say "no" or not have what I need to make it the whole month, financially. It seems I wake up in a new world every morning. Some mornings are worse than others and all I need to do is look in the mirror to see the damage. My eyes have always had dark circles around them and many times I would be looked at as an abused wife. One small child even told her mother, there was the witch. That hurt!
Not so, it was that my eyes show how bad I had it the night before, whether I went out or was not feeling well. Now It's Another Country

I swear it's one country after another, that's trying the patience of the United States and the rest of the world. I realize that this country that's setting off these bombs is a country that's very large and highly militarized. Therefore, it will be a huge task to handle the onslaught that will occur, should they get crosswise with the rest of the world. They don't seem to be backing down on their stance about the old agreement, signed back in 1953 for an armistice. I truly hope that N. Korea will stop this crap and behave themselves.

Summer Is Here

I noticed that almost every year, you have a rainy spell, and then it all stops and the heat hits. It's that time. The heat has arrived and it looks as though the rain may be over. Their getting bigger, and it won't be long before they bloom. They never bloom around Easter, it's still a bit to cool back then. The Blonde

She's getting married.........again...... :) Becky, has been notorious for having several husbands. Actually so have I, but not quite as many. She just never could get it right.

Yesterday...........

My where did the time go? Seems like only yesterday, when I looked like this. I had fun dressing up and getting the men's eyes to turn when I walked into a room. What's so great about this picture, is it was taken six months after my second child was born.

Our Problems Are Small....

Just when I thought things were bad for us and we couldn't get passed all the problems. I look at the news and this article, with pictures jumps out at me. There is so much devastation in this world, and now there's even more. The World Relief Organization must be strapped for funds considering how many different areas are in this horrible situation. Sri Lankan ethnic Tamil victims of a shell attack wait outside a makeshift hospital in Tiger controlled No Fire Zone in Mullivaaykaal, Sri Lanka, Sunday. An all-night artillery barrage in Sri Lanka's war zone killed at least 378 civilians and forced thousands to flee to makeshift shelters along the beach, Sunday. The army and Tamil Tiger rebels blamed each other for the barrage, which left at least 1,100 people wounded. It is said, it was the bloodiest day seen in months of fighting.

His Birthday

Today, is the 46th birthday of my oldest son. It seems only yesterday, I went to the hospital and he was born. My how the years have passed by.
Do you notice all of us older people saying that? Well, here I am doing it and it feels horrible. I know if you live long enough, you get old. But I didn't want this to happen, I wanted to live and enjoy life and never get old and decrypted. Well, people..........here I am...........old and aging not very gracefully. Living With The Problem

It's becoming a hassle to get up on mornings, that I don't feel well. He rouses around a certain time and will sit there to see if I will get up. If I don't get right up then the will lay back down and fall back to sleep. Gosh I wish I could go to sleep like that. Anyway, he of course has managed to make enough noise, that I'm not able to get back to sleep. So, I get up and start the routing of making coffee, the going to work on his breakfast. I make sure that it is almost done before I wake him, and get him to take one of his medicines and stick his finger for blood sugar count. I don't want him to sit too long waiting for his food, after I give him his insulin. What can I say.........he's got me trained............just another day in paradise.

A Patch of Blue

What is a terrible situation, for anyone to deal with is slowly taking some action. I can finally see a patch of blue in a dark sky of turmoil. The APS case worker, finally called yesterday, after I made a complaint to the main office in Austin, TX. That is the capitol of the State of Texas and so the main government offices for the State are located there. It wasn't an hour before I had a return email, notifying me that they had contacted the Dallas office and the boss of the caseworker had been notified. Within another hour, the actual caseworker, called. Now how is that for action? I was tired of getting nowhere and not getting any help. At least I have someone's attention, that may be able to do something for us.
