He's Getting Grouchy

It's getting to the point that he doesn't want to try to speak and when I ask him again, many times he just ignores me. It's as if he's mad at me for trying to get him to talk. I know he's having a hard time, because of the stroke, but if he were in the hospital or therapy, they would make him talk. He's starting to get tired of me telling him what to do, even though he can't get his brain to function well enough to get things done. I realize he's a grown man and I try to let him do as much as he can on his own. He's not letting me exercise his brain or muscles that are affected.
