A Long Struggle

My spouse is going on his second week in the hospital, with the stroke he had back on April 5th. I see some improvement, but it seems that it's an up and down hill battle with his health. They still are having a hard time keeping his BP down, and his blood sugar, fluctuates back and forth. I'm worried that he will get too adventurous an get up out of his bed, only to loose his balance and fall. They may have to restrain him, if he keeps trying to get up. The future with this problem remains to materialize, and I'm afraid of the outcome. Being a caregiver, will be something I'm not ready for.
