New Pet

Since moving to the family home, I decided to get a companion.  Since there are no men I'm considering, then I guess a cat will have to do.........!  She arrived 2 days ago, and has remained for the most part, shy.  Last night she actually came out from hiding a allowed me to pet her.  I'm sure it won't be long until she will be under foot most of the time..........now, just getting her to eat and drink water and using the litter box.........hope she's not making me a mess somewhere.
