After months of waiting and preparation it's finally happened.  William and Kate are now husband and wife, starting a new life in a world of eyes.  Today, they started off as different people and became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.  Congratulations to the new couple and best wishes for a long happy life together.

Diet Pills

If you need to know what other people think about certain diets or the effects, then do a search on the internet.  You can find  diet pills that work  for certain types of weight loss, and others that will build muscle.  If they work then you are interested in finding the cost and amount that's given for that price.  It's also necessary to get current reviews about these products, according to health standards.  For information about certain pills, click on the above link and read about each one.

My Easter Gift

My camera isn't very good for taking pictures, but this is a necklace made by my sister.  She gave it to me this last weekend, when I went out to visit for Easter.  She has taken classes in jewelry making and is now in full motion of making some outstanding sets of jewelry.

Education Cuts

My Friend Manny Campos has written an editorial about the latest cuts our state government is considering imposing.  I'm sure you will find his article very interesting.......at the link below.

Tomato Plant

I have an upside down hanging tomato plant.  This is a picture of the first blooms which seem to have taken forever to grow.  I suppose there isn't as much sun on my patio as I thought there would be, therefore the plant is taking it's time.  I can also attribute the weather changes for some of it's slow growth.  It's been a cool warm spring.  I mean that one week it's really nice and warm, the next week a cool front will come in and the temperatures drop.  This is rough for the plants to endure during growing season.

Mobility For Disabled

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Increasing need for mobility has become paramount for today's disabled population.  Many years took their toll on disabled individuals and left them stranded, dependent on family or friends to get dire help.  It is great to see the innovations that have been made for these people.  The process of getting help is a huge undertaking and requires professional assistance to get the ball rolling.  I found that  NMEDA is a non-profit trade association; who educates consumers on buying products from a NMEDA qualified dealers.  NMEDA  promotes safe driving and equipment for disabled people and can help them locate a mobility equipment dealer that can provide modifications and adaptive equipment to get them on the road.

After they have been assessed by a professional they should contact a reputable dealer.   The NMEDA has Dealers and Quality Assurance Program dealers who are listed as qualified by this association.  They register these dealers and require them to maintain a professional standard of practice when providing these mobility aides.  The NMEDA Quality Assurance Program is based on the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality.

You will find that costs for buying a wheelchair accessible van or handicap car can be expensive so consider both used and new vehicles.  Not all people with disabilities require identical modifications that 's why an assessment needs to be made before actual equipment can be installed.  The emphasis is on mobility equipment and handicap vehicles while matching the right solution with the right person. A  NMEDA dealer will also help you with any funding applications that may be required.

I went to the website and typed in my zipcode.  There listed on their website was a company that I have seen located on I-30 for several years.  I'm sure you will be able to find one locally when you type in the zipcode where you live.

Patio Fun

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pier 1 for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Stepping into spring takes on the new and gives it the springtime colors.  I find that there are many beautiful things you can buy from Pier 1  to enhance your decor.  There are so many items to consider, when shopping for the "Spring and Summer" season's.  You are able to find many things to compliment the 'Easter' celebrations, we enjoy yearly.  I looked at the indoor/outdoor furnishings and accessories like rugs, and wall decor.   There was a large array of furniture to design an outstanding patio decor.  The Papasan's are exactly what you need for friends and family to lounge on around the pool this season, as well as used indoors.  The cloth seating cushions were very colorful with all the spring colors, designs and flowers which can cause a "wow" factor when people see it for the first time.
I noticed the place mats for your outdoor tables along with the dinnerware to serve in fashion.  They would go nicely on that white wicker table that was shown on the website.  There was a complete group of white wicker furniture.  The chairs looked so comfortable and there was a table close by to set down you plate and drinks.

This has become such a popular place to shop for unique designs, that there are Pier 1 Tweetups  scheduled this spring for your fun and pleasure. I missed out on the one that was in April but there's another one coming up.  You might want to check the website for more information and sales.  We have a Pier 1 location right here in Dallas, TX for all the DFW enthusiasts.  The store is close to where I live and convenient to access while I am shopping.

Time is Ripe

I found some cantaloupes at the local grocery store 2 days ago.  They looked fair for the price, so I bought this one.  It's not a good one, like I thought it to be.  It looks as though they were selling them cheap because they were about to go bad.  Time was of the essence to get them moved out of the store.  There's a place already forming which will need trimming off, when I process it for consumption.

Step Dad

I have a step-dad that is well up in his 80's.  As a matter of fact he will become 90 in May and we are hoping he makes it.  He is becoming so feeble and has been falling too much lately.  I fear he is going to hurt himself really bad and then be in dire physical condition.  Mom, is getting feeble as well and it's very hard for her to get around, much less help him when he falls.  They haven't said anything about a nursing home, I think they are trying to stay at home as long as they can for each other.
