This research center and hospital, was founded by Danny Thomas a well-known actor of the 50's. It was his dream to help children get the care they were unable to afford and the research to stop the dreaded cancer that was taking so many small lives. Today, his daughter carries on his dream, with the hospital and research unit still serving children and their families, who otherwise wouldn't be able to get the help needed for a cure.
